Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts from scratch.
• Ensure all baked goods meet quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to manage inventory and ingredient supply.
• Experiment with new recipes and seasonal offerings to enhance the menu.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior baking staff.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results.
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a baker in a café or restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry arts.
• Ability to work early mornings and weekends as needed.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Food Handler's Permit or equivalent certification preferred.
