What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Lead Teacher- 3/4 Year Olds position at Kidzone Early Learning Center?
Kidzone Early Learning Center is looking to hire a Preschool Teacher (3/4 year olds) to add to our childcare center team! The teacher will educate the children while also encouraging & promoting a positive environment.
*Must have current CDA or a minimum of an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
*Must have experience with exceptional Classroom Management skills!!!
*This position would start on or around August 10, 2026!!
We are a small facility & want to maintain a warm, family-like feel within our building. We are looking for a friendly, positive, hard-working individual to help provide nurturing care & educational fun to our children!
Responsibilities
- Follow a daily schedule & create weekly lesson plans based on our curriculum
- Provide basic care to the children, as needed
- Observe children’s interactions and promote positive interchanges
- Collaborate with other staff members; get along well with others
- Adhere with state and facility rules and regulations
Skills
- Proven experience as a daycare employee
- Excellent knowledge of child development & importance of routine
- Patience, flexibility and love for children
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Early Childhood Education degree (or equivalent) or CDA
