In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to support daily classroom activities, promote developmental milestones, and ensure each child's safety and well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans focused on literacy, math, and early childhood development.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for toddlers.
- Engage children in educational activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive growth.
- Help with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap time, and outdoor play to ensure comfort and safety.
- Foster inclusive learning experiences by working with children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities.
- Support curriculum development efforts aligned with Montessori or other early childhood education philosophies.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to promote a collaborative and transparent atmosphere.
Experience
- Prior experience working in daycare settings or preschool environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early education best practices.
- Experience with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with special education approaches, including working with individuals with autism or disabilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and engage with young children.
- Previous involvement in lesson planning related to literacy education, math concepts, or curriculum development is advantageous.
