Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and well-being
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and respect among children
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports effective learning and caregiving routines
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including administering first aid when necessary and maintaining proper hygiene standards
- Support children's social, emotional, and educational development
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings; classroom experience is highly valued
- Ability to provide infant care and toddler care with patience, compassion, and attentiveness
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies
- Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
