Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum and lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of preschool-aged children.
- Provide individualized support to children, including those with special needs, ensuring their inclusion in classroom activities.
- Engage in behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students.
- Support literacy education through reading activities and storytelling sessions.
- Facilitate toddler care routines, including meal times, nap times, and personal hygiene practices.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding child progress and classroom activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with early childhood education trends.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques is highly desirable.
