Exciting opportunity to join our growing team in West Boca! We are a midsized Pediatric Multispecialty Center seeking a full time Medical Assistant, Monday-Friday.
- Greets, receives, and prepares patients for appointments/procedures; conducts interviews with patients, measures vital signs, and records information.
- Maintains clean and neat examination areas in a manner consistent with OSHA standards.
- Receives and screens telephone calls.
- Schedules patient appointments.
- Coordinates patient flow.
- Prepares timely, legible, and complete documentation of patient care under physician guidance as provided by law, regulation, and established policy
- Exhibits a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical Assistants who recently graduated or are approaching graduation must obtain MA certification within 60 days of employment
- Experience working in a pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Cardiology experience a plus (but not required)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and authorization processes
- Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols.

JOB TYPE / WORK SCHEDULE:
- This is a full-time position
- Standard Office hours, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Bilingual required
