What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher Assistant position at Kidz Korral Learning Center?
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Provide support and guidance to students in their learning and development
- Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, and in restrooms.
- Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Assist with preparing materials and resources for lessons and activities
Skills:
- Experience in babysitting, childcare, preschool, or similar roles is a plus but not needed.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is a plus nut not needed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Basic understanding of behavior management techniques
- Experience in working with young children is a plus
- Knowledge of special education strategies is an asset
