- Monitor and support children's social-emotional behavior, applying effective behavior management techniques.
- Provide attentive caregiving, including feeding, diapering, and ensuring overall well-being for infants and toddlers.
- Utilize classroom management skills to maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address individual needs or special education requirements.
- Administer first aid when necessary, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing inclusive care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, childhood development, and working with children with diverse needs.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience in daycare settings or early childhood education environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
