Brief Description
Kidwell is seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the role of Electrical Prefabrication Apprentice II or Journeyman. This position is open to experienced apprentices or journeymen with experience in residential wiring. The Electrical Prefabrication Apprentice II or Journeyman is responsible for supporting the company’s prefabrication and kitting initiatives through the creation of assemblies and kits. All work will be performed in the Kidwell Prefabrication Shop (Lincoln) in a temperature-controlled environment. The Prefabrication Apprentice II or Journeyman must be team oriented, have great organizational skills with attention to detail, be honest, positive and possess quality communication skills.
Prefabrication Production
A physical exam and drug screening must be passed. Candidate must maintain a valid driver’s license. Field experience as a commercial electrical apprentice is preferred. Access is available to onsite parking and public transportation.

Prefabrication Production
- Produce prefabricated electrical assemblies and installation kits
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit to specification
- Assemble electrical boxes and spool wire and cable
- Perform electrical terminations and connections
- Operate and maintain shop equipment, including:
- Table benders and offset benders
- Threading machines and drill press
- Band saws and chop saws
- Safely operate a forklift or similar material-handling equipment
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and production area.
- Participation in daily team meetings and safety trainings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Work consistent hours Monday through Thursday between 6:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M, Friday 6:00 A.M. to noon.
- Experience in residential electrical work (Apprentice II or Journeyman level)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
