What You'll Do
Professionalism
- Model the Kidventure Way by showing professionalism, spreading positivity, and showing respect in all interactions.
- Be reliable by maintaining consistent attendance and arriving on time, prepared to work.
- Pursue growth by asking questions, seeking feedback, and applying constructive criticism.
Teamwork & Preparedness
- Support camp operations by completing assigned duties and staying flexible to assist other teams as needed.
- Collaborate with co-counselors to share camper supervision, activity leadership, and group management.
- Lead daily camp activities through organized set-up, facilitation, and clean-up, showing readiness and adaptability.
Camper Engagement & Safety
- Have fun with campers while maintaining clear leadership and authority.
- Use Kidventure-approved positive behavior management tools.
- Create a fun, engaging, and supportive camp environment where kids can thrive.
- Maintain a safe and organized camp environment at all times.
Qualifications:
- By submitting this application, you are applying for a seasonal Summer Day Camp position in the Austin, Texas area, running from May through August.
- Similar positions are also available in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston, Texas areas. Interest in those locations may be shared during the interview process.
