Job Description:
Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to)
Developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans (using Alabama Early Learning Guidelines) and daily classroom schedule in accordance with KidTowne Theme Base Curriculum
Responsible for overall supervision and daily function of classroom of children
Ensure a safe and consistent child development environment. Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence
Provide verbal recognition to all children while providing clear and consistent expectations for behavior
Observe rules and regulations of not only KidTowne, but the local, state, or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children
Maintain overall appearance (adhere to dress code at all times)
Accept responsibility for maintaining necessary maintenance and housekeeping duties as it relates to the classroom, playground, or any common areas
Assist in any other areas deemed necessary by administration.
Hourly Rate:
$13.00-15.00 an Hour
Experience Preferred
Qualifications:
Must be reliable and dependable
Work an 8hr shift
Meet all DHR Childcare Licensing Requirements
Including ABI/FBI Background Check/TB Test/ Pass a physical
Must be 18yrs old or older
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
Complete required DHR Training (will be provided)
CPR Certification (Will provide if needed)
