Position Details

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:15 AM – 1:45 PM
Job Type:Part-Time/Year Round
Pay Range: $17.36 – $20.00 per hour

Kidtastic Kids is seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Aide/Paraprofessional to provide individualized support to a student with special needs in our Special Education Preschool program. This rewarding role focuses on helping children succeed academically, socially, and emotionally while fostering independence in a supportive classroom environment.

Working alongside teachers, therapists, and families, you will play an important role in helping children reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent one-to-one support to a student throughout the school day
• Implement accommodations and strategies outlined in the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) and behavior support plans
• Assist with classroom activities, academic tasks, transitions, and daily routines
• Support the development of social skills, emotional regulation, and positive behaviors
• Assist with personal care needs as required, including toileting, feeding, hygiene, and mobility support
• Collect and document data related to student progress, behavior, and goals
• Communicate effectively with teachers, therapists, and supervisory staff regarding student needs and progress
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Follow all program policies, confidentiality requirements, and applicable state regulations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with children with special needs preferred, but not required
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication, patience, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
• Must meet all state and program background clearance requirements
