Responsibilities
- Provide consistent one-to-one support to a student throughout the school day
- Implement accommodations and strategies outlined in the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) and behavior support plans
- Assist with classroom activities, academic tasks, transitions, and daily routines
- Support the development of social skills, emotional regulation, and positive behaviors
- Assist with personal care needs as required, including toileting, feeding, hygiene, and mobility support
- Collect and document data related to student progress, behavior, and goals
- Communicate effectively with teachers, therapists, and supervisory staff regarding student needs and progress
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Follow all program policies, confidentiality requirements, and applicable state regulations

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with children with special needs preferred, but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, patience, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Must meet all state and program background clearance requirements
