Job Overview
KidsUnited is a soccer center for early development. Our unique training method is intended to develop physical, personal, intellectual abilities and social skills of children from 1.5 to 10 years old. KidsUnited not only teaches children how to play soccer; it acts as an early development system, using soccer as the main educational and delivery tool. Ideal candidates will be responsible for leading classes with high energy and ensuring that health and safety precautions are observed during all activities. Ideal candidates will also be able to communicate with parents on the progress of their child and keep the parents engaged in the program.
Duties
- Training children ages 1.5-9yrs old, max 14 children per class
- Capable of following and understanding KidsUnited training sessions
- Consistently giving parent feedback about their child's progress as well as keeping accurate records of feedback
- Communicating with parents about the purpose of each session and core focuses
- Ensure health and safety precautions are observed during all activities
- Maintaining equipment and keeping the facility clean
Skills
- At least 6 months of coaching youth soccer
- Or 2-3 years working with children and some experience playing soccer
- Solid verbal and written communication skills required
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Ability to work and function in a KIDSUNITED TEAM environment
- Flexible to work day, evening, and weekend hours as needed
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Experience working with children required
