Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Woodbridge, NJ, for a Soccer Coach Specialist. The role involves developing and conducting soccer training programs tailored to children aged 18 months to 9 years. Responsibilities include teaching foundational soccer skills, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship, maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment, and communicating with parents or guardians as necessary. Coaches will adhere to the provided curriculum while motivating and mentoring young athletes to grow their confidence and skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Soccer Coaching, with experience in teaching or training young players
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with children and their families
- Background in Education or Coaching, ideally with children or youth programs
- Passion for working with children and fostering personal and athletic growth
- Strong understanding of teamwork, leadership, and child development principles
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- Flexible availability, including weekends
