KidStrong Assistant General Managers (AGM) are the second in command when it comes to the center. It’s the responsibility of the AGM to work closely with the General Manager (GM) on fostering a culture of learning and development for both their coaches and the families that attend the center. The AGM is a talented, welcoming, and engaging leader who is focused on delivering an exceptional experience for the kids, families, and team members. The goal of the AGM is to partner with the GM to drive the business of the center, develop and train their coaching team, build the culture of their center, and to uphold the KidStrong brand.

This position will not have any direct reports. The AGM will assist the GM in supervising all Coaches and the Lead Coach. The AGM will work closely with center team members and families. This position will also interact with the AD and KidStrong, Inc. HQ team members as directed by the AD.

Responsibilities
CENTER OPERATIONS
- Take pride in your center and understand that everything starts with team.
- Understand the center’s key KPIs and financials to make informed and responsible business decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with KidStrong families to align with our core values and provide exceptional customer service.
- Oversee center initiatives i.e. center maintenance, training, brand consistency, etc.
- Daily, Weekly, and Monthly cleaning and maintenance of the center
- The typical schedule includes 4 weekdays and 1-weekend shift with specific hours dependent on the needs of the center.
- Set and communicate any Coach schedules using appropriate scheduling and communication platforms.
- Schedule, sell, and staff KidStrong events, such as camps and parties, to maximize center profitability.
- Maintain flawless lead management by conducting call drives to new and existing leads.
- Finalize sales and bookings generated through online self-sign-up flow.
- Source and attend local events to increase brand awareness.
- Drive sales through sales conversion in the center.
- Respond and follow through in a timely manner with all AD requests and client/lead requests.

- Foster a coaching culture - see something, say something and lead by example.
- Continuously assess and document coaches based on the KidStrong Coach DNA profile and class quality.
- Achieve all required certifications.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, managing, training, and evaluating Coaches.
- Manage and support the ongoing professional development of staff through Lighthouse.
- Strong communicator who communicates professionally verbally and in writing using approved AI tools to assist with professional writing.
- Be results driven, a community builder, and emotionally balanced.
- Attend bi-weekly meetings with AD.
- Make customers happy.
- Coach students by delivering an evolving, age-appropriate curriculum that focuses on Brain, Physical, and Character development.
- Understand the “why” behind the KidStrong curriculum.
- Deliver amazing classes: Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various programming and curriculum elements.
- Use the KS Coaches App to record data and provide data (attendance, awards, etc.).
- Must be able to work in a physically intensive environment - coaches may cover multiple miles in a shift moving through class, lifting and repeatedly moving equipment up to 25 pounds in weight.
- Must be comfortable physically working with kids of varying abilities to ensure proper technique and safety.
- Be passionate, a performer, mentor, teacher, and have a command presence.
- Passion for working with children is non-negotiable.
- Very professional, humble, and coachable.
- Enthusiastic and engaging communicator: Outwardly comfortable speaking in front of strangers and members, and to parents/guardians regarding a variety of topics.
- Coaching background with experience working with or coaching kids ages 11 years old and younger preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate with high energy, have fun, and enjoy the job.
- Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus but not required.
- Previous experience in management is preferred but not required.
- Practical work experience with Google and Microsoft platforms.
- Previous experience with systems and platforms such as GloFox, Lighthouse, CareerPlug, and Gusto is preferred but not required.
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
- CPR certified.
