The Role: KidStrong Children’s Coach
We’re seeking an enthusiastic coach with athletic or teaching experience (ideally with kids ages 12 months-11 years) to lead high-energy classes focused on brain, physical, and character development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach groups of 6-15 kids using KidStrong’s curriculum
- Engage parents, explaining the "why" behind our methods
- Keep classes on schedule, dynamic, and fun
- Ensure safety, proper technique, and positive energy
- Greet every child and parent personally
- Maintain a clean, safe studio environment
- Track attendance and milestones via KidStrong Coach’s App
- Communicate with the team via Slack
- Attend monthly training and programming meetings
- Lead special programs (KidStrong Academy) during school breaks
- Obtain and maintain KidStrong Coach Certification
Schedule:
- Weekdays: 9-11 am & evenings until 7 pm
- Weekends: 8 am - Noon
- Flexible hours based on studio needs
What You Bring:
- Passion for working with kids—non-negotiable!
- Prior coaching or teaching experience preferred
- Confident communicator with kids & parents
- Solid understanding of exercise techniques and child development
- CPR certified (or willing to obtain)
- Positive, energetic, and thrives in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Bonus: Pediatric OT/PT experience
