Location: Olathe, KS

Care Facilitator / Behavioral Health Tech

Full-Time | Olathe, KS

Starting Pay: $20.00/hour*

Earn an additional $3.00/hour weekend differential, for a total of $23.00/hour, from Friday at 5:00 PM through Sunday at 10:00 PM.

Saturday and/or Sunday availability is necessary.

As a Care Facilitator/Behavioral Health Tech, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children and teens while helping them develop the skills, confidence, and resilience they need to succeed.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

As a Care Facilitator, you'll work directly with youth ages 6 to 18 in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality, therapeutic care in a safe and supportive environment
• Serving as a positive role model and mentor
• Teaching life skills, coping strategies, and team-building skills
• Encouraging healthy physical, emotional, and behavioral growth
• Leading and participating in activities with youth
• Helping maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
• Responding to the individual needs of children in care with patience and compassion
• Completing required documentation accurately and on time
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that values communication, teamwork, and continuous learning
  
  

Full-Time Schedule Options

Full-time Schedules Include

• Wednesday through Saturday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Sunday through Wednesday: 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM
  
  

Saturday and/or Sunday availability is necessary.

And don't forget, hours worked between Friday at 5:00 PM and Sunday at 10:00 PM receive an additional $3.00/hour weekend differential.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Ability and willingness to lead groups of youth in activities
• Commitment, integrity, adaptability, and dependability
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a sense of humor
• A genuine desire to support children and teens
  
  

Preferred, But Not Required

• College coursework in social work, psychology, behavioral health, or a related mental health field from an accredited college
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Experience supporting youth with emotional or behavioral challenges
