Position Overview
The School Based Therapist is responsible for assessing the client's mental health status, developing a client-specific treatment plan, providing individual, group and family therapy and completing all required clinical documentation in compliance with KidsPeace and regulatory requirements.

- FT SBOP therapist (BA level) - $40,000 to $42,000
- FT SBOP therapist (MA level) - $45,000 to $56,000
- PT SBOP therapist (BA level) – $22/hour and admin rate of 12.50/hour

Key Responsibilities
- Essential functions include
- Complete required assessments and develop a client-centered, individualized treatment plan with each client.
- Designate client problem areas, assist clients in formulating related goals and tasks and support clients in achieving these goals via the completion of specific tasks.
- Provide individual and family therapy which directly address client treatment plan goals. Conduct group therapy over the summer.
- Develop a discharge plan that meets the ongoing needs of each client.
- Participate in school meetings to connect students and families with mental and behavioral health services.
- Participate in SAP and other school-specific trainings.
- Complete all required documentation in a timely manner on KidsPeace approved forms and according to KidsPeace and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human services related field required.
- Master’s degree in human services related field preferred.
- Applicable state licensure or licensed eligible preferred.
- Minimum of two years' experience in Human Services required.
- Experience with acute emotionally challenged children, adolescents, and/or adults preferred.
- Must be able to perform therapy sessions remotely and possess the computer skills to navigate a session.
