Job Overview
Oversee the talent acquisition process and lead the Recruiting Department to ensure effective hiring strategies and programs. Responsible for developing and implementing strategic recruitment initiatives that align with current and future workforce needs. Utilize a wide range of recruiting tools, techniques, and best practices to attract top talent. Apply sound judgment and industry experience to achieve recruitment goals, often requiring creative and innovative solutions. Provide support to recruiters operating outside of Pennsylvania, as needed.
Job Duties / Essential Functions
Keep abreast of the latest developments in labor legislation and identify potential impacts on current recruitment procedures.
Supervise the recruiting team and provide guidance, support, and backup, as needed.
Attend and Partner with Programs in all Pennsylvania reoccurring recruiting meetings.
The subject-matter expert on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and various job boards.
Track and report on data to leadership on key recruiting metrics.
Collaborate with program leaders to support the recruiting and hiring process.
Partner with hiring managers on vacant positions and evaluate the effectiveness of the recruiting department.
Oversee and recommend recruiting, training and proper use of the ATS.
Make sound recruitment decisions as well as demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Human Resources
Qualifications (Education, Training and Experience)
Proven supervisory experience, with a minimum of 7 years in a recruiting role.
Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business management, labor relations, or related field.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and best hiring practices.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications as well as recruitment software.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure while managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrates strong organizational and sound decision-making skills.
