Answer and direct all incoming telephone calls for KidsPeace of New England Nursing. Maintain medical files of clients in our care. Provide administrative support for nursing, order office supplies, type, file, and other secretarial duties; other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Strong Computer and office skills.
- Minimum of High school diploma and three years of administrative experience.
- CRMA strongly preferred
JOB DUTIES:
- Updates, prints, collects, counts, files, medication administration records.
- Orders medications from a pharmacy when needed. Helps maintain appropriate medication levels on the residential units.
- Medication administration.
- Maintains a schedule of auditing medical records.
- Operates business machines and related office equipment, including ordering necessary supplies for the machines. Calls in repairs when necessary.
- Infection control rounds.
- Maintains a schedule of appointments for residential clients, including eye, dental, and specialist.
- Orders, receives, and maintains supplies as needed.
- Places, receives and processes all faxes and mail.
- Places, receives and directs all telephone calls and chronologically records all messages.
- Ensures coordination and confidentiality of medical records.
- Maintains regular filing systems and charts as well as a set of locked confidential files and processes incoming correspondence as instructed.
- Gathers, obtains and organizes pertinent data as needed and puts it into usable form.
- Assist the Director of Nursing with communications and reporting requirements.
