Childcare Floater – Part-Time Afternoons
KidSpace Childcare Center is looking for a dependable and energetic Childcare Floater to join our team!
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and is comfortable helping in different classrooms throughout the afternoon. You may work with children ranging from infants through preschool age, so flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude are a must!
Available Shifts
Please note: These shifts are firm and applicants must be available for one of the following schedules:
- Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–6:00 PM
- Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–6:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers and provide support in classrooms as needed
- Work with children ranging from infants to preschool age
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment
- Engage with children through play, activities, and daily routines
- Assist with afternoon transitions, classroom coverage, and end-of-day duties
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be available Monday through Friday
- Must be willing and comfortable working with all age groups from infants through preschool
- Must have a positive attitude and enjoy working with children
- Must be able to work the scheduled shift consistently
