What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist position at Kidsource Therapy?
Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist- Full-Time | Hot Springs, AR
Location: Hot Springs, AR
Job Type: Full-Time
Company: Kidsource Therapy
Kidsource Therapy is looking for a full-time Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Hot Springs team, working with children and families in our clinic and, when appropriate, in community settings such as daycares and schools.
What Pediatric Speech Therapy Looks Like at Kidsource
We believe therapists should have the clinical judgment and autonomy to provide care that is individualized, purposeful, and appropriate for each child and family. That means:
- Building strong, genuine relationships with children and their families and incorporating what matters most to the family into treatment
- Communicating clearly about progress, challenges, goals, and what families can do at home
- Finding creative ways to make therapy engaging and meaningful for each individual child
- Helping families understand the "why" behind the strategies you're recommending
- Providing practical ideas that caregivers can actually use during everyday routines
- Collaborating with OTs, PTs, Developmental Therapists, and other members of a child's care team
- Using clinical reasoning to determine what a child needs rather than automatically recommending more treatment
We believe therapy should make a difference between sessions, not just during them.
A Career That Can Change With You
At Kidsource Therapy, we've built a workplace that can evolve with you as your experience, priorities, and life changes.
New Graduate
Starting your SLP career comes with a lot of questions. You need support, but you also need the space to become your own clinician. At Kidsource, you'll have:
- An on-site CF supervisor
- Multiple layers of mentorship and leadership support
- In-house trainings, Lunch & Learns, Feeding Rounds, and collaborative case discussions
- Access to specialty programs and experienced specialists
- A team that understands what it's like to be new and doesn't expect you to have everything figured out
- Infrastructure that lets you focus on learning and becoming a great clinician- not billing, scheduling, or figuring everything out alone
Mid-Career
Life gets fuller. Your career has probably changed along the way, and your work should be able to flex with it- not compete with everything else you have going on. At Kidsource, you'll have:
- Real infrastructure behind you, including scheduling and billing teams that support you
- A steady referral stream so you can focus on treating instead of constantly worrying about building a caseload
- Specialty growth opportunities and cross-discipline collaboration
- Benefits that recognize the experience you bring
- A schedule built around your life- no weekends, no holidays, and yes to making that after-school pickup
- The autonomy to manage your clinical work without feeling like you're doing everything else, too
Experienced Clinician
You've spent years developing your clinical skills, and we believe your next job should make good use of that experience- not bury it under administrative work. At Kidsource, experienced clinicians have opportunities to:
- Mentor and support newer therapists
- Get involved in leadership and specialty programs
- Collaborate across disciplines
- Continue developing areas of clinical interest
- Help shape new ideas and programs
- Practice with the autonomy that comes from being trusted as an experienced professional
- Spend more of your time doing what you went into this field to do
