What You'll Do
As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you'll help children develop the skills they need to succeed at home, school, and in their community.
Responsibilities include:
- Complete comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's unique strengths and needs.
- Provide engaging, play-based occupational therapy services.
- Monitor progress and update goals as appropriate.
- Educate and collaborate with families to support carryover at home.
- Work closely with Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, Mental Health providers, educators, physicians, and other professionals.
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications
Required:
- Current Connecticut Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Passion for working with children and families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred:
- Pediatric experience
- Experience with sensory integration, executive functioning, feeding, handwriting, or autism spectrum disorders
