We are looking for a dedicated director to join our staff in Brandon, FL. The Childcare Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, staff management, and regulatory compliance of a childcare center or early learning facility. This leadership role ensures a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children, supports staff development, fosters family engagement, and upholds all licensing and accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management
- Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of all center operations.
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate teaching and support staff.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal childcare regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by licensing agencies.
- Prepare for and manage licensing inspections and accreditations.
Family & Community Engagement
- Build strong relationships with families through open communication, transparency, and regular updates.
- Address parent concerns professionally and promptly.
- Organize events, parent-teacher meetings, and community engagement activities.
Financial Oversight
- Assist in budget development and monitor expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Manage enrollment, billing, and fee collection.
- Seek opportunities for program funding, grants, or partnerships.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
