Daycare Worker/Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Worker/Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development while working in a supportive and collaborative setting. Experience with children, classroom management, and early childhood education are highly valued. Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children in a safe and nurturing environment across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that encourages exploration and learning.
• Foster positive behavior management strategies to support children's social skills and emotional regulation.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities aligned with developmental milestones.
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care as needed.
• Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine caregiving tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of children's activities, attendance, and developmental progress.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members.
• Ability to create a safe, engaging environment that fosters learning through play.
• Patience, compassion, adaptability, and a genuine love for working with children.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
