Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cleveland, OH, for a Therapist at Kids Thrive. The Therapist will be responsible for assessing children's needs, creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, and conducting one-on-one and group therapy sessions. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with families through parent coaching sessions, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and working alongside a multidisciplinary team to achieve treatment goals. Supporting the integration of strategies that promote emotional development and behavioral growth is key to this role.
Qualifications
- Experience with therapeutic interventions, including one-on-one and group therapy
- Skills in creating individualized treatment plans and conducting assessments
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with child development, behavior management techniques, and family systems
- Licensed or license-eligible in relevant mental health fields (such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
- Ability to work effectively in structured, on-site environments consistent with treatment goals
- Experience or training in the Developmental Repair Model is advantageous
