We are a privately-owned childcare center located in Chattanooga, TN seeking to add to our team of dedicated Early Childhood Educators. We are searching for teachers who are flexible, positive, dependable, kind and creative. We are willing to train the right person to excel in the early childhood profession, and even offer opportunities to assist you in furthering your education in the field. We also offer opportunities to quickly move up within our center, based on performance and attendance.
We are hiring for multiple positions, part time and full time. Wages are based on education and experience in childcare.
The ideal candidate will meet the following standards:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the early childhood field (not required)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Minimum of a High School Diploma
- Able to stand for long periods of time, sitting on the floor to interact with children, being able to lift to 40 LBS, frequent walking and moving around the classroom
- A kind, positive, and loving demeanor towards children
- Maintain the cleanliness of classrooms and the center
- Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children
- Use a wide range of teaching methods enhance children’s abilities (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing, etc.)
- Create and implement lesson plans and conduct classroom according to the classroom schedule
- Willingness to meet all training requirements for childcare professionals in the state of Tennessee.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
