Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants. Your primary goal is to support each child's developmental milestones through engaging activities, attentive care, and effective communication with parents. Duties

• Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development in infants
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure environment
• Observe and document each infant’s developmental progress to tailor individual care plans
• Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities that support early childhood development principles
• Adhere to mandated reporting laws and ensure compliance with licensing regulations for childcare centers

Experience

• Prior experience working with infants or in a daycare center setting is highly preferred
• Knowledge of child development instruction and childhood development milestones
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Demonstrated classroom management skills in early childhood education environments
• Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid, is required or willing to obtain upon hire
• Background in preschool or toddler care, nannying, babysitting, or caregiving roles is advantageous
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and family communication strategies
• Strong understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
