Kids 'R' Kids of Westpointe is looking for Summer Camp Counselors ready to have fun with our students and provide and maintain a healthy environment. Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy is searching for energetic, loving, passionate, and professional summer camp counselors. We need a leader who can run a successful school-age program that helps children feel safe and loved. To grow young minds by nurturing creative thinking and developing social skills.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Previous Child Care Teaching in a licensed childcare facility (Preferred)
Compensation is based on experience, education, and certifications.

Qualifications:
- As a teacher, your focus is to guide, nurture, and develop your students with enthusiasm.
- All job functions should be performed according to policies and procedures of Kids 'R' Kids and Texas State Child Care Standards
- Versed in current State licensing rules and regulations.
- Mentor ,guide, and lead your students
- Build strong, healthy relationships with students, parents, families, and co-workers.
- Engages in appropriate and beneficial teacher-child led interactions
- Implement Kids 'R' Kids proprietary Curriculum
- Communicates regularly and effectively with students, parents, families, and co-workers.
- Reliable, motivated and organized to complete tasks with excellent results
- participate in activities with children for a successful experience
- prepare activities in a timely manner, set out, and ready to go
- plan weekly activities, use weekly lesson plan, and implement activities
- arrange a time for homework, planned activities, outdoor play, and games
- strong classroom management skills
- teach daily routines
- arrange classroom as needed and label accordingly
- keep classroom tidy, neat , and clean.
- Clean driving record for driving the bus, must be 21 years old to drive the bus
