The Role at a Glance
In this position, you will primarily support our toddler potty training program, providing high-quality care and guidance during this critical developmental stage. During the closing shift, you will also float between classrooms as needed to assist with coverage and ensure continuity of care.
- Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
- Focus: Toddler Potty Training, Floating Support, and Classroom Leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Excellence: Implement engaging activities aligned with Kids’ R’ Kids and Texas Rising Star Standards.
- Professional Communication: Maintain an open, professional dialogue with parents and guardians regarding their child’s day.
- Classroom Management: Ensure a safe, clean, and organized learning environment at all times.
- Reporting: Accurately complete daily reports and student assessments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required).
- Experience: 1–2 years in early childhood education (Required).
- Credentials: Current CPR/First Aid certification (or a willingness to obtain it immediately).
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license (Required).
- Note: A CDL is preferred. Experience or interest in bus driving is a significant plus, as there are opportunities to assist in student transportation!
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stay active throughout the day.
- Flexibility: Reliability for the 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM shift is essential.
