Education & Curriculum Coordinator

Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy of Wellington
Wellington, FL Full Time
POSTED ON 10/28/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/22/2026

Be the Educator Behind the Moments They Remember

Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy of Wellington is preparing to open a brand-new, state-of-the-art private early learning academy, and we are seeking a passionate, creative, and highly organized Curriculum Coordinator to join our founding leadership team.

The Curriculum Coordinator is more than the person who checks lesson plans. You are the instructional heartbeat of the academy—and the professional memory maker behind the experiences children remember.

This role is ideal for an early childhood professional who loves being in classrooms, coaching educators, bringing curriculum to life, and creating meaningful learning experiences that go beyond the lesson plan.

Working closely with school leadership and teaching teams, you will help establish a culture of instructional excellence, creativity, intentional teaching, and continuous growth across our academy.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion the implementation and fidelity of the Kids ‘R’ Kids curriculum across all age groups
  • Coach, mentor, and inspire teachers through classroom observations, feedback, modeling, and hands-on support
  • Help teachers transform curriculum objectives into engaging, memorable learning experiences
  • Review lesson plans, assessments, classroom activities, and learning environments for quality, alignment, and developmental appropriateness
  • Support teachers in differentiating instruction based on individual children's interests, strengths, and developmental needs
  • Assist with onboarding and training new educators in curriculum, instructional practices, classroom expectations, and academy standards
  • Collaborate with the Director and Assistant Director to establish and maintain exceptional classroom quality
  • Monitor classroom environments and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
  • Help prepare classrooms and teachers for special events, family experiences, seasonal learning, and signature academy traditions
  • Support state requirements, licensing standards, and applicable accreditation expectations, including APPLE and/or NAEYC
  • Help ensure curriculum documentation, assessments, and instructional practices are consistently maintained
  • Partner with teachers to create experiences that children are excited to talk about and families are excited to hear about
  • Support family communication regarding curriculum, child development, classroom learning, and developmental milestones
  • Serve as a positive, visible resource and mentor for educators throughout the academy

You Are a Professional Memory Maker

At Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy of Wellington, we believe some of the most important learning happens in the moments children remember.

The science experiment that made them curious.
The book that sparked their imagination.
The project they couldn't wait to tell their parents about.
The teacher who helped them believe they could do something new.

As Curriculum Coordinator, you help make those moments possible.

You will empower teachers to move beyond simply completing a lesson plan and instead create classrooms filled with wonder, discovery, connection, and meaningful learning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree or credential in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with DCF 45 Hours & VPK Certification (Required)
  • Previous teaching and/or instructional coaching experience in an early childhood setting
  • Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
  • Knowledge of early learning standards and curriculum implementation
  • Experience with lesson planning, assessment, classroom observation, and teacher coaching
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail
  • Confident providing feedback, modeling practices, and supporting professional growth
  • Creative, energetic, and comfortable working directly in classrooms
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build trust and influence others
  • Familiarity with Florida childcare licensing requirements and accreditation standards
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
  • Must meet all Florida and Kids ‘R’ Kids employment requirements
  • Level 2 FDLE background screening required
