Job Summary
The Curriculum Coordinator plays a vital leadership role in ensuring high-quality curriculum implementation across all classrooms. This position supports teachers through coaching, organization, observation, and professional development while ensuring curriculum fidelity, compliance, and a nurturing learning environment for children from infancy through school age. The Curriculum Coordinator strengthens staff morale, supports instructional excellence, and helps create an engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experience for every child.
Day in the Life (Curriculum Coordinator)
Key Responsibilities Curriculum Implementation & Oversight
- Ensure proper daily implementation of all Kids ‘R’ Kids curriculum programs (Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and School Age).
- Organize, distribute, and maintain curriculum materials and classroom resources.
- Conduct regular classroom observations to ensure lesson plans, learning goals, and enhancements are implemented as designed.

Teacher Support & Professional Development
- Build positive, supportive relationships with teaching staff to promote morale and collaboration.
- Coach teachers through observation feedback, modeling, and one-on-one support.
- Assign and monitor mentors for new teachers, tracking progress during onboarding periods.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop Professional Development Plans and identify training needs.
- Facilitate in-house trainings, workshops, and curriculum-focused staff meetings. Day in the Life
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting.
- Experience supporting children from infancy through school age preferred.
- Excellent organization, communication, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with state licensing standards and early childhood best practices preferred.
