Role Description
This full-time, on-site Curriculum Coordinator position is located in Duluth, GA. The Curriculum Coordinator will oversee curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation to meet educational goals for children ranging from infants to preteens. Responsibilities include collaborating with staff to design engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans, training teachers on curriculum standards, monitoring classroom activities for adherence to educational objectives, and ensuring compliance with state and accreditation standards. Additionally, the Curriculum Coordinator will serve as a resource for teachers and families, fostering an environment of communication and support.
Qualifications
- Experience in Curriculum Design, Curriculum Development, and Implementation
- Strong skills in Communication and the ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Proven abilities in Educational Leadership and mentoring educators
- Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching strategies and core principles of Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field required; advanced degrees or certifications in Early Childhood Education are a plus
- Prior experience in early childhood education or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
