We are seeking a passionate and dedicated part time and full time Teachers to inspire and support learners across diverse educational settings. As a Teacher, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom environment, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student’s unique needs are met. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating innovative educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate students with various disabilities, including developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, visual impairments, and other special needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement techniques and behavior management strategies tailored for students with behavioral health challenges.
- Conduct assessments, including standardized testing and progress monitoring, to evaluate student achievement and inform instructional adjustments.
- Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, behavioral therapists, and other specialists to support individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure compliance with special education laws.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and behavioral incidents while ensuring adherence to educational regulations and privacy standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, literacy education, math instruction, childhood development, and inclusive teaching practices.
Qualifications
CPR/First Aide certified
Must pass federal background check
early childhood education preferred.
- Proven experience working with children or students with disabilities in classroom settings.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional design, and educational technology integration.
- Familiarity with behavior management for students with special needs, and educational compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, colleagues, and external specialists.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning for all students regardless of their abilities or backgrounds.
- Experience teaching physical education or recreational therapy is a plus; certification in speech therapy or behavioral therapy is advantageous.
