We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Childcare Director to join our team. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. You will be responsible for implementing educational activities that promote childhood development and support the individual needs of each child. We are drug-free, faith-based organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive learning environment through engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss children's progress and address any concerns regarding their development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents that may occur during care.
- Assist children with daily routines such as eating, dressing, and toilet training as needed.
- Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.

Requirements
- A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Director's Credential
- Strong CDA and or Staff Credential
- Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting is essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in caregiving.
- First aid certification is highly desirable; training may be provided if not already obtained.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support children's emotional needs effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and other professionals in the field.
- Experience in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
