Preschool Teacher / Teacher Assistant (Part-Time with Full-Time Opportunity)
Kids Learning World Academy is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic individual to join our team! We are currently hiring a Part-Time Preschool Teacher/Teacher Assistant with the opportunity to become full-time as our center continues to grow.
Whether you have experience in early childhood education or are eager to begin a rewarding career working with children, we would love to hear from you. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude and a passion for helping children learn and thrive.
Schedule
- Part-Time
- Initial hours are 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the center and may increase as enrollment grows.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, loving, and positive environment for children.
- Assist with daily classroom routines and learning activities.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play.
- Help with meals, nap time, restroom routines, and transitions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom.
- Work closely with lead teachers to support children's learning and development.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies.
Qualifications
- Childcare or preschool experience is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Must enjoy working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to pass all required background screening and meet Florida childcare requirements.
Pay
Compensation is based on experience, classroom knowledge, qualifications, and overall job performance.
