Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate Level 1 supports daily warehouse operations by performing basic tasks such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This entry-level role is essential to maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely order fulfillment to the Teacher Resource Center and the volunteer areas.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- Use handheld scanners or basic inventory software
- Pick items accurately based on order slips or digital systems
- Pack & label goods securely for shipment
- Stage orders for delivery or pickup
- Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against packing lists
- Label and store items in designated warehouse locations
- Report/ document damaged or missing items
- Ensure operations are performed with the required level of accuracy on quantity and presentation
- Audit workload to ensure transactions and movements of material are complete.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
- Maintain a clean work environment through garbage disposal, pallet stacking, clear aisles and well-swept inventory floor
- Monitor and communicate any machinery problems
- Assist with large shipments or volunteer event set-up
- Other tasks as assigned
Basic Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in warehouse or related
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to follow written instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organization and communication skills
- Must maintain acceptable attendance, punctuality, and working relationships.

Physical Demands
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

- Ability to operate forklift
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range:
- $20.00 - $22.50 hourly
