Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service and guiding them through event activities
- Coordinate and oversee party activities, ensuring they are fun, safe, and well-organized
- Manage guest interactions, resolving conflicts promptly with effective conflict management skills
- Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces, including heavy lifting and manual handling as needed
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems for ticketing or merchandise sales
- Enforce safety protocols diligently, including first aid readiness and adherence to health guidelines
- Engage with children and families through public speaking, entertainment, or hosting activities to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the venue, including outdoor work areas when applicable
- Handle food service responsibilities if required, following food safety standards and hospitality best practices
- Support team members in managing outdoor events or activities that require outdoor work experience or lifeguard skills if applicable
Qualifications
- Proven experience in events management or hospitality environments, especially in party hosting or children’s entertainment
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage conflict effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Experience working with children or in family-oriented settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of safety protocols including CPR and first aid certification; lifeguard experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and processing transactions accurately
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and outdoor work as required by event setups or outdoor activities
- Previous experience in retail sales or food service enhances your ability to serve guests efficiently
- Comfortable speaking publicly or engaging groups through public speaking or theater experience is beneficial
