Part-Time Front Desk / Swim Instructor
Kids First Swim School – York, PA
Kids First Swim School is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Front Desk / Swim Instructor. This is a dual-role position that combines customer service responsibilities with hands-on swim instruction. Applicants must be comfortable working in the water.
Responsibilities:
Front Desk Duties
- Greet families and students with a positive, welcoming attitude
- Answer phones, schedule lessons, and assist with registrations
- Process payments and handle basic administrative tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding lessons and policies
Swim Instructor Duties
- Teach swim lessons to children of various ages and skill levels
- Work directly in the pool to ensure safety, learning, and fun
- Follow lesson plans and swim curriculum provided by the school
- Encourage and support swimmers to build confidence and skills
- Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging pool environment
Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to work in the water
- Comfortable working with children and families
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Swim instruction experience preferred, but training is provided
