Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, but we are also willing to train. As a Child Care Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development and growth of children in our care, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive both academically and socially.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of children.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective classroom management techniques.
- Provide care for infants through preschool-aged children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Collaborate with other educators to support early intervention strategies for students requiring additional assistance.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and any relevant standardized testing outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience working with students in daycare or preschool settings is preferred. Willing to train.
- Must be able to pass childcare background check and comply with all state licensing requirements.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques that promote a positive learning environment.
- Ability to provide child care while ensuring safety and developmental support.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
