Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Conduct regular assessments to track children's progress and development
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Utilize learning technology and resources to enhance teaching methods
- Support children with special needs, including those with autism or other developmental challenges
- Incorporate physical education and movement activities into daily routines
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional development
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in early childhood education
Requirements:
-Early Childhood Education Credentials or be willing to take the State equivalency test
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies for children with special needs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and implement curriculum development strategies
- Understanding of child welfare regulations and compliance standards
