Kids Corner Childcare is opening a second center in Auburn Washington and we are looking for two lead teacher for brand new infant and Toddler classrooms.
We hire loving, patient teachers that understand their job is to facilitate learning through fun, kindness and understanding. Teaching boundaries and "no"s in a way that focuses on growth and community.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and personalized care. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners and support their emotional, social, and cognitive milestones from the earliest stages of life. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development and curiosity in infants
- Provide attentive care that meets each infant’s individual needs, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and health monitoring
- Create a safe and clean classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play
- Observe and document developmental progress, communicating effectively with parents and team members about each child's growth milestones
- Engage in hands-on caregiving activities such as tummy time, sensory play, music sessions, and storytime to stimulate learning
- Maintain accurate records of daily routines, activities, and health updates in compliance with licensing standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure classroom management strategies support positive behavior and social skills development
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or nannying settings with classroom experience preferred
- Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety at all times
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with disabilities or additional needs
- Excellent caregiving skills including patience, empathy, and effective behavior management techniques
- Ability to manage a classroom environment confidently while fostering independence and curiosity
- Knowledge of early childhood education best practices combined with nurturing caregiving techniques
