Job Summary
We are seeking a substitute to join our team as a staff with possible continued employment . The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the education and development of students in a supportive learning environment. You must understand, we are educators, not babysitters. Child care is an active, hands on job, you must be able to be with children at their level, and INTERACT with them verbally and physically.
Duties
- Interacting with children at their physical and developmental levels, along with their health and safety are number one priorities
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a positive learning environment
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques
- Support literacy education and early childhood development
- Communicate with students, teachers, and staff to facilitate learning
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.73 per hour
