Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher/assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves assisting teachers in implementing curriculum, managing classroom activities, and providing individualized support to students.
Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in daily classroom activities and lesson implementation.
- Support students with special educational needs by providing tailored assistance.
- Engage with toddlers and young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
- Participate in curriculum development and assist with the preparation of instructional materials.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to enhance the learning experience.
- Implement classroom management strategies to ensure an effective learning atmosphere.
- Observe and report on student progress and behavior to the lead teacher.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or skills in the following areas:
- Toddler care and childcare practices.
- Special education techniques and strategies.
- Classroom management skills to maintain an orderly environment.
- Experience working with students in various educational settings.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or early childhood education principles.
- Knowledge of curriculum development processes.
