Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports children’s social-emotional growth.
- Conduct regular assessments of children’s progress using standardized testing methods and tailor lessons to meet individual needs, including special education and early intervention strategies.
- Manage daily classroom activities with effective classroom management techniques, ensuring safety, engagement, and learning for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians through clear communication about their child's development, milestones, and welfare.
- Incorporate early childhood education best practices to foster curiosity, creativity, and independence among students.
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, behavior notes, and classroom supplies to ensure organized operations.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare settings or preschool environments is essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience developing curriculum content that includes literacy education, math instruction, physical activities, and special education accommodations.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other early childhood educational philosophies is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Previous involvement in private school or daycare settings will be considered an asset.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
