Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of children in your care
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Foster children’s social skills through interactive activities and group projects
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including first aid procedures when necessary
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support each child's individual growth and address any behavioral or developmental concerns
- Incorporate elements of early childhood education, special education strategies, and childhood development principles into daily activities
- Support children’s physical activity through sports coaching or recreational play, encouraging teamwork and healthy habits
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and daily activities
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain discipline while nurturing creativity

- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, camp, or tutoring settings
