What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at KidGlov?
Ready to be the person clients can't imagine working without?
KidGlov is looking for an Account Manager who thrives on keeping big, mission-driven ideas moving from brief to launch. If you love the mix of relationship-building, sharp communication, and the satisfaction of a project landing exactly on time and on budget, keep reading.
What you will do here
You will become the day-to-day partner for a portfolio of clients whose work matters, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, and other mission-driven brands doing good in the world. On some accounts you will own the relationship outright. On others, you will stand shoulder to shoulder with an account director. Either way, you will be the reason projects move forward instead of stall.
You will turn client goals into creative briefs that spark great creative. You will manage branding, website, and integrated campaign work across paid social, streaming TV and audio, search, email, print, and out of home, keeping timelines, budgets, and scope on track even when you are juggling several accounts at once. You will lead client meetings with confidence, whether the room holds a marketing coordinator or a full board. And you will help pitch new business, bringing research and proposal savvy to the table.
You will fit right in if you have
- Five to seven years of experience in account management, project management, or client service
- A track record of managing multiple accounts and deadlines without letting the details slip
- Strong writing and editing chops, with the range to shift voice from client to client
- Comfort with project management software, Microsoft 365, and using Claude AI to work smarter
- The confidence to present to clients, executives, and boards alike
- Flexibility for hybrid work, in our Lincoln office two to three days a week, with occasional trips to Omah
Bonus points if you bring
Agency experience, a background with nonprofit, healthcare, public health, or financial services clients, a feel for brand strategy and research, skills in Canva, PowerPoint, or InDesign, AP-style proofreading, or hands-on experience running campaigns in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, or GA4.
