What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Day Camp Teacher position at KidFit Daycare?
We are looking for a Daycare Teacher with a passion for caring for children. The ideal candidate must have experience working with school age children ages 5-12 years. Must have experience with creating curriculum plans for weekly themed activities and keeping the children engaged. This position starts June 8th and ends the week of August 21st. (Summer camp is closed the week of June 29th.) Staff must be energetic and caring for children of all ages, and will be committed to creating an exciting, safe and fun learning environment. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the facilities and grounds, creating lesson plans and providing education to our students while also demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and play with children, ages 5–12.
- Be attentive and patient.
- Clean the center following sanitation guidelines.
- Pledge to adhere to the center's policies and regulations.
- Deal with difficult parents.
- Be a role model for children.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
