Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Stock Clerk role based in Lees Summit, MO. The Stock Clerk will receive, unpack, and organize shipments of materials, supplies, and merchandise, ensuring items are accurately counted and stored in designated locations. This role maintains inventory areas, restocks shelves and storage spaces, and updates inventory records to reflect stock levels and movement. The Stock Clerk will assist with preparing items for internal use or distribution, labeling products, and ensuring items are easily accessible for staff. Daily tasks include verifying invoices against deliveries, reporting discrepancies or damages, and supporting purchasing activities by communicating stock needs. The role also involves keeping storage areas clean, safe, and orderly, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to support operational needs.
Qualifications
- Strong inventory management skills, including experience with Inventory and Inventory Control systems.
- Familiarity with Purchasing processes and Invoicing, including matching deliveries to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
- Effective Interpersonal Skills to collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and supervisors in a professional and respectful manner.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in counting, labeling, and recordkeeping.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and organizing stock safely.
- Basic computer skills and comfort with inventory or point-of-sale software.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site full-time in Lees Summit, MO.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior stock, warehouse, retail, or theatre operations experience is beneficial.
