Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and learning.
- Support children with their daily routines, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene practices.
- Engage children in play-based learning activities that encourage creativity, social skills, and cognitive growth.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols at all times.
- Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform teaching strategies.
- Foster positive behavior management by encouraging cooperation, sharing, and respectful interactions among children.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's day-to-day experiences and developmental milestones.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom activities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or children with special needs is advantageous.
